As part of our niche for nature in Alberta, almost all of our wildlife photographs were taken in Alberta. We travel to Canada Parks and City parks in Calgary and Edmonton to photograph wildlife. Among our specialties are birds of prey, such as eagles, owls, and ospreys.
We also photograph mammals such as moose, bison, elk, deer, grizzly bears, black bears, etc. We take our moose photographs in places like Canmore and Banff National Park. Our bear photographs are mostly shot in Banff National Park. Bison photographs are taken on Elk Island, however, we have a separate shop category for Bison photographs.
The majority of our Owl photographs are taken inside city limits, with the exception of Snowy Owls and Great Gray Owls, which are photographed outside city limits. Snowy Owls, Great Gray Owls, Great Horned Owls, Boreal Owls and Pygmy Owls have been photographed.
We also specialize in bird photographs and are part of a birding club. We regularly visit Calgary city parks to photograph birds in their wild habitat. We have seen some rare birds in recent years and our photographs are used on Ebird as identification.
