Shipping Policy
For Canadian customers, shipping is included in the price of the product. We allow local pickup in Calgary, or we ship anywhere in Canada for a flat fee that is included in your price. International customers typically pay a flat rate, which is often the same as the shipping cost for one or multiple items.
Furthermore, with Canada Post, we use Expedited Parcel with delivery confirmation and tracking information. This tracking information is not provided to the client unless asked for.
At present, we only ship to Canada, the United States, the United Kingdom, France, Germany, and Belgium. If there is somewhere in the world you would like something shipped, please contact customer service.
Local Pick-up
Local pick-up can be arranged by the customer when ordering the product via the Checkout page. Or the customer can contact us after the order is placed and arrange local pick-up.
We send an email when the product is available for local pick-up, and we arrange a time with the customer. Our products usually have a quick turnaround time unless we are away.
Handling Time
Once the order is placed and all our items are in stock, we can turn around a product within three to five days for handling time.
We have a problem when the paper, ink, or mat is out of stock. We may need to contact the customer to inform them of the delay or arrange a suitable alternative to the normal stock we use.
Hahnemuhle papers are most likely the problem since they are special order items. We use them because they give our product the most accurate representation. However, we can substitute with other papers that are just as suitable and could be in stock with local vendors.
We usually pre-order ink for our printers and our vendors keeps a reasonable stock of the ink we use. The other problem we may run into is the archival mat for the smaller prints and usually, there is either a color change or a suitable replacement.
Our handling time is three to five days once the order is placed. It is usually mailed out within three to five business days at the local post office. The transit time for Canada Post to deliver depends on the destination. Canada Post no longer guarantees delivery within a time limit. Canada Post can deliver within three to five business days but it can take up to 12 business days to arrive. We provide a tracking number on every shipment and this is attached to your final email. You can track the package as soon as it’s received at the post office.
Packing Slip
When our products are mailed out, they are packaged with a packing slip. This identifies the product, the google id, our shop URL, our return address, the price of the product ordered, and return information should that be required. We also supply instructions on what to do with the print when it is received.
Return Shipping
The Customer is responsible for paying their own shipping costs for returning the product purchased. Return shipping costs are non-refundable.
Damaged or Lost Items
If your package is lost and tracking shows that it was not delivered within 90 days of purchase, we will initiate a claim with Canada Post. This will enable us to recover shipping costs and the cost of replacement or refund for the lost product.
If the product is delivered damaged, then the client is responsible for providing proof that the product was damaged in transit. We require proof of damage to start a claim with Canada Post.
When the claim is successful, the client will be given the option of receiving a full refund including shipping or receiving a replacement product.
